ZipNet GSM
There were few choices if you needed to collect employee time and attendance
information from your remote offices or store and process it at head office.
And unless you already had a network, such as a VPN, between your offices,
most of those choices involved manual handling and therefore (expensive) time.
Now, with ASP's ZipNet Anywhere GSM Kit, collecting employee clock in and out
information from your remote offices (virtually anywhere in Australia where
there is GSM coverage) can be quick, easy, and automatic.
The ZipNet Anywhere GSM Kit uses the CSD (circuit switched data) facility of
the GSM mobile phone networks to send data at a surprisingly low cost. In
fact, the remote offices make no calls at all.
The ZipNet Anywhere GSM Kit allows one or more of ASP's ZipNet Time and
Attendance Terminals to be wirelessly connected back to your head office
from anywhere in Australia with GSM mobile phone coverage.
You will need a GSM modem attached to a PC at head office, and a ZipNet
Anywhere GSM Kit at each remote site. ASP's ZipNet Anywhere software
periodically (using a schedule you define) connects to the ZipNet Anywhere
GSM Kit at each remote site and downloads the data from the attached ZipNet
Terminal or terminals. Then, using ASP's TimeSheet Express program, you
can create export files that can easily be loaded into your payroll program.

ASPKey+ for Mobile Devices
Field service and sales applications are becoming more common, and requirements
for hardware are becoming more diverse. So, ASP has developed a utility that
allows Bluetooth barcode scanners to be used with Mobile Devices such as
the iMate.
ASPKey+ for Mobile Devices does this by converting RS-232 and Bluetooth input into
keyboard input. This means that with a rugged Bluetooth barcode scanner like
our Denso GT10, you can scan items into your Mobile Devices in
real time and without the use of cables.
