ASP Microcomputers is Quality Certified under the Q-Base System, which is a subset of ISO 9000 that was developed to meet the quality certification needs of small business, and is subject to regular quality systems audits.

What is the Q-Base Code of quality management?
The Q-Base Code contains seven clauses. Outlined below are each of the clauses, and a brief sentence describing what functions they serve, or what they mean.
CLAUSE ONE: MANAGEMENT OF THE QUALITY SYSTEM
What must done to establish, operate and manage our quality system in line with the
departments of our organisation, including Administration, Marketing & Sales,
Product Services and Support, Purchasing, and R&D.
CLAUSE TWO: CONTROL OF CRITICAL DOCUMENTS & RECORDS
The process that identifies and ensures that all documents relating to quality
are always up to date and available to those who work with them.
CLAUSE THREE: CUSTOMER NEEDS
The matching of our customer's expectations and our capabilities.
CLAUSE FOUR: PURCHASING
Specifies our needs clearly to approved suppliers to ensure that we get what
we ordered right, and on time, every time.
CLAUSE FIVE: TRAINING AND WORK INSTRUCTIONS
Sets up all training systems to ensure that our staff are fully trained for the
work that they do.
CLAUSE SIX: INSPECTION AND CONTROL OF SUB-STANDARD WORK
Formalises our quality plans, and establishes measuring and test equipment
calibration. Installs a systematic process for handling all non-conforming
work.
CLAUSE SEVEN: QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS
How to handle quality failures and resolve them so they do not reoccur.
Establishing our continual improvement cycle.
