Scan OCR Reader
The Model 5133 OCR Reader is one of the most versatile data entry tools available.
As a low-cost alternative to keyboard data entry, this character reader help avoid
payment processing delays, data entry errors, and repetitive stress injuries.
The Model 5133 OCR Reader integrates a slot for OCR or barcode with a second slot
for magnetic stripe cards. For higher volumes, a motorized batch processing
version is available.
The unit is fully programmable through menu scanning, modem, or on-screen program.
It auto discriminates among OCR, 16 bar code types, and 3-track magstripe media,
and reads up to 200 characters per second with high accuracy. The firmware is
in-field upgradeable, due to the flash memory architecture.

MagTek Mini MICR Cheque Reader
The MINI MICR is a MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) Cheque Reader,
and is designed to read the MICR characters on cheques, deposit and withdrawal slips,
and other MICR encoded documents.
The use of the MICR Reader improves accuracy and speed because there is no
manual data entry; therefore there are no keying errors or unwanted delays.
In a typical application, the unit reads the MICR characters printed on the bottom
of a cheque, and transmits this data to a Host device. The Host device can
then use the appropriate specific authorization or verification process required
to validate the transaction.
The Mini MICR is a low cost cheque reader with high accuracy and dependability,
with a small footprint.
The MICR Reader is available with a PC Keyboard Wedge or USB Serial interface.

QuickStripe Magnetic Stripe Reader
No need to type in the details on a Medicare or credit card, just swipe
the card through the QuickStripe reading slot. The card data will appear
on your PC screen as though you typed it in, but without any errors!
The ASP QuickStripe Magnetic Stripe Reader is quick and easy to install.
Although an RS-232 version is available, the most common interface is PC
keyboard wedge, so you just plug the unit in between your PC and its
keyboard, no power supplies or other cables required.
The standard QuickStripe reads either or both tracks 1 and 2, and a version
that reads all three tracks is also available. The QuickStripe is configured
using software supplied with the unit. Units with keyboard wedge interface
can be supplied with AT or PS/2 connectors, and the RS-232 unit is fitted
with a D9 serial port cable.

QuickSmart Smart Card Reader Writer
ASP's QuickSmart Smart Card Reader/Writer provides a cost-effective interface
between smart cards and your PC. The small size (only 85mm long, 72mm wide and
17mm high) makes it ideal for a variety of smart card applications.
The QuickSmart attaches to your PC via the keyboard interface (AT or PS/2),
or via RS-232.
