Z4 DataTraq Application Programs
|
Stocktake 1 |
This simple stocktake program allows you to scan barcodes and enter quantities. If you scan a barcode at the quantity prompt, a quantity of one is assumed for the previous barcode, making stocktakes much quicker. |
|
Stocktake 2 |
This was the first program in our Free Program Library for the Z4 DataTraq. This stocktake program rejects duplicate scans, and is most useful in situations where all your products have unique barcodes. |
The example programs below are designed more to show off the capabilities of the Z4 DataTraq rather than as complete programs. Both the self-contained loader and the source code are available for download, although you'll need to buy ASP's Programmers Pack to be able to load the source code into a Z4 DataTraq unit.
Note: the following Z4 DataTraq source code files have an .TXT extension. Depending on the browser you are using, clicking on a .TXT file may cause it to be displayed on your browser screen instead of downloading it. If this happens to you, press your browser's back button, then right-click on the link and select Save Link As.
Z4 DataTraq Example Programs
|
Loader (66k) |
This is a fairly specific stocktake type program. It prompts the operator to enter a two digit location, a 13 digit barcode (UPC/EAN, for instance), a quantity which can be 1-5 digits, and a selling price, which must be in the form dollars (0-3 digits), a full stop, and cents (2 digits). When stored, the quantity is leading zero filled to 5 digits in total, and the selling price is padded with leading zeros to five digits to the left of the decimal point. |
|
Loader (67k) |
This is an example of a picking list type program, where a list of items is loaded into the Z4 DataTraq, and the operator is led through the list. The uploaded data consists of a 4 character product number, a 16 character description, a 4 character location, a 4 character order quantity and a 4 character supplied quantity. |
|
Loader (65k) |
This program prompts the user to scan a barcode. If the barcode has been scanned before, it displays a description for the barcode, and adds one to the number of times the barcode has been scanned. If the barcode hasn't been scanned before, it prompts the user to enter a description and sets the scan count for that barcode to one. The barcode, description and scan count are stored in records, sorted by the barcode number. |
