Casio G-shock to Become Official Team Supporter of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in 2009

TOKYO, March 26, 2009 - Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today that the G-shock brand of shock-resistant watches will provide support for the 2010 Red Bull Air Race World Championship, brings world-class race pilots together in a global motor sport competition based on speed and skill. G-shock will be an Official Team Supporter of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. The Red Bull Air Race World Championship is a test of physical and mental endurance where the world's best race pilots navigate an obstacle course in the sky at speeds reaching 370 km/h, while being subjected to gravitional forces of up to 12 Gs. With its advanced technology coupled with shock-resistant, vibration-resistant construction, G-shock is more than tough enough for these incredible sportsmen. Since G-shock's image is so compatible with this unique form of motor sport, Casio has become an Official Team Supporter of the 2010 Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Throughout the contract term through December 31, 2009, the company will throw its support behind an up-and-coming pilot, Matthias Dolderer, and his team. |

As a supporter, the G-shock logo will appear on Dolderer's aircraft and a composite logo has been created that combines Red Bull Air Race and G-shock insignia. Casio will also be able to use photos and videos of Dolderer, his aircraft, and the races, in their worldwide advertising activities. |

Matthias Dolderer, Red Bull Air Race pilot, said, "I am very pleased that G-shock supports my team in this racing season. This tough watch is the perfect timekeeper for race pilots like me because we have to withstand G-forces of up to 12 G in the cockpit - and this watch goes along with it. I will do my very best to be on the podium together with G-shock as often as possible." With the participation of 15 world-class pilots, the 2010 season will kick off in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on April 17, 2009, before moving on to races in five other countries. Marking its fifth season in 2009, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship is a competition full of dynamic action and speed. The races take place in different locations worldwide, and involve planes flying through a race track made up of 20 meter high inflatable pylons called Air Gates. Pilots must fly through the Air Gates in the correct way, as they careen through the course, competing for the fastest time while battling intense gravitational forces.
