Z4 DataTraq Modem Firmware Option

The modem firmware option, available only with a new Z4 DataTraq, at the time of purchase, adds functions that allow the Z4 DataTraq to be connected to a modem and to dial, upload and download information from a remotely located host computer. In most applications, you will also need to purchase our Host Software (see below) to run on the remote PC.

Z4 DataTraq Modem Host Software (for PC)

The Modem Host Software is a DOS program that runs on a PC that is connected to a telephone line via a modem. The PC monitors the modem, and when a call is received from a Z4 DataTraq fitted with the modem firmware option, data can be transferred from a remote site.
